You play as an extra terrestrial traveller, who travels between planets in the galaxy in order to create life. The player can design the planets eco system, and the decisions he/she makes will have a great effect on the organic life that will evolve on the planet. Plant trees and ape like creatures will appear over time, or create rivers, and aquatic creatures will begin to occupy them. Players can travel to other players planets, and introduce a species from their planet if they wish. This can be an act of friendship, or war.
